Balmorra, to plant poisoned body parts. I use the quest item in the zone at multiple spots, but nothing happens. What to do to complete this?

Hey dude, you need to plant them in these little feeding things around the area, they are usually noticeable because there is gas emitting from it and all around it, it's not as clear as you would hope but you will know what I mean when you find your first one.

Super pain in the ass area, hate it.
